O presidente Lula anunciou nesta quinta (19) que o secretário-executivo do Ministério da Fazenda, Dario Durigan, será o novo chefe da pasta após a saída de Fernando Haddad. A declaração foi feita durante evento da caravana federativa realizado em São Paulo.
Ao mencionar o sucessor, Lula pediu que Durigan se levantasse e disse que ele passará a responder pelas demandas relacionadas à área econômica: “O Dario será o substituto do Haddad no ministério da Fazenda a partir do anúncio do Haddad. Olhe bem para a cara dele que é dele que vocês irão cobrar muitas coisas”.

Haddad também mencionou medidas aprovadas durante sua gestão, como a reforma tributária, a isenção do Imposto de Renda para quem ganha até R$ 5 mil e a renegociação das dívidas dos estados. “A reforma tributária impediu enormes injustiças contra trabalhadores”, acrescentou.
No evento, o vice-presidente Geraldo Alckmin elogiou a atuação do ministro e afirmou que as medidas econômicas ajudaram a aumentar a eficiência e a competitividade. “A reforma tributária traz eficiência econômica e aumenta exportação”, declarou.
