Novo pleito foi determinado pela Corte Eleitoral do TRE-MG
Na sessão de julgamentos dessa terça-feira (17), o TRE marcou para o dia 21 de junho de 2026 as eleições suplementares para prefeito e vice em Bonito de Minas, no Norte de Minas. As eleições foram marcadas após aprovação pela Corte da resolução contendo o calendário e as demais instruções que vão reger as eleições no município. A norma está publicada no Diário da Justiça Eletrônico.
Bonito de Minas é a quarta eleição suplementar em Minas Gerais referente ao pleito de 2024 e acontece em razão do indeferimento do registro do candidato a prefeito mais votado nas urnas.
Calendário Eleitoral
De 12 a 17 de maio, os órgãos partidários poderão se reunir em convenções para deliberar sobre a escolha dos candidatos. Após a escolha em convenção, o candidato que será registrado, caso ocupe cargo gerador de inelegibilidade, deve afastar-se no prazo de 24 horas. No dia 20 de maio, será encerrado o prazo para entrega dos pedidos de registro de candidatura à Justiça Eleitoral, sendo que o encaminhamento pode ser feito por transmissão pela internet, em sistema próprio da Justiça Eleitoral (CANDex), até as 8h do dia 20 ou mediante entrega em mídia ao cartório eleitoral até as 19h.
A partir do dia 21 de maio, os candidatos podem iniciar a propaganda eleitoral, regulamentada pela Resolução TSE nº 23.610, de 2019, que trata das regras relativas à propaganda nas eleições, e pela Lei nº 9.504, de 1997.
Estão aptos para votar as eleitoras e os eleitores inscritos no município até o dia 21 de janeiro de 2026. A votação será das 8h às 17h, com as mesmas mesas receptoras de votos constituídas para as eleições que aconteceram em outubro de 2024. As eleitoras e os eleitores que não puderem comparecer às urnas poderão fazer a justificativa no próprio dia 21 de junho pelo aplicativo e-Título. Quem não fizer a justificativa na data da votação terá 60 dias para o procedimento, podendo realizá-lo também no e-Título ou no sistema Justifica.
A diplomação dos candidatos eleitos deverá ocorrer até o dia 13 de julho de 2026. No período de 20 de maio a 13 de julho, o cartório eleitoral de Januária (148ª Zona Eleitoral), responsável pelo município de Bonito de Minas funcionará, além do expediente normal nos dias úteis, em regime de plantão aos sábados, domingos e feriados das 12h às 17h.

Em Bonito de Minas, o candidato a prefeito mais votado, Dílson Barbosa Santana, o Dílson da Senhorinha (União), teve o seu registro de candidatura indeferido, em razão da condenação, pela Justiça Eleitoral mineira, por abuso de poder político nas eleições municipais de 2020, configurando a inelegibilidade prevista no art. 1º, I, alínea “d”, da Lei Complementar nº 64, de 1990. Enquanto não há candidatos eleitos e empossados nas novas eleições, o presidente da Câmara de Vereadores do município continua respondendo pelo Executivo municipal.
