Ruy e Raquel Muniz foram favoráveis a impeachment de Dilma Rousseff; PT diz que pessoas mudaram de opinião sobre caso
O casal de políticos Ruy e Raquel Muniz, agora filiados ao Partido Verde, defendeu o impeachment da ex-presidente Dilma Rousseff (PT) em 2016, quando a então deputada federal Raquel votou entusiasmadamente pelo processo. Na noite dessa quarta-feira (5/8), 10 anos depois, os dois estiveram em evento realizado em Belo Horizonte para o lançamento da candidatura do deputado federal Patrus Ananias (PT) ao governo de Minas Gerais
Ruy, que foi prefeito de Montes Claros e chegou a ser preso um dia após o sua esposa ter votado pela saída da então presidente, justificou o voto da sua esposa e afirmou que hoje está convencido do que é melhor para o Brasil.
“Em 2016, nós aderimos ao partido PSD. Partido do ministro das cidades, Kassab, que na época era ministro da Dilma. Ele estava comprometido a manter a presidenta Dilma, votar contra o impeachment. Eles mudaram de posição e Raquel, quando ela votou, já estava consumado o impeachment e ela seguiu a orientação partidária”, afirmou.
Apesar da afirmação, Rachel foi a 303 parlamentar a votar favorável à abertura do processo de cassação do mandato da petista, sendo que eram necessários 342 para a aprovação.
Agora candidato a deputado federal pelo PV, o ex-prefeito afirmou que sua prisão fez parte de uma “perseguição implacável de um delegado da Polícia Federal que fez uma armação pra mim” e que tinha o objetivo de afetar a eleição municipal daquele ano.
“O melhor para o Brasil hoje é Lula presidente, para Minas é o Patrus, Marília e Áurea; Ruy federal e vamos buscar os bons estaduais para a gente construir uma Minas melhor”, disse Ruy Muniz.
O deputado federal Reginaldo Lopes (PT-MG) afirmou que o Partido dos Trabalhadores deve olhar pra frente e que as pessoas mudaram de opinião sobre aquele momento histórico da política nacional.
“Uma ampla aliança daqueles que querem pensar o Brasil nesses próximos quatro anos, fazer o Brasil avançar do ponto de vista da reindustrialização. Nesse sentimento de pessoas que no passado já tiveram uma opinião e hoje tem uma outra opinião sobre aquele fato histórico”, afirmou o parlamentar
