Ministério da Fazenda e Receita Federal alertam para volta das informações falsas nas redes sociais

A Rede Jovem Pan pediu desculpas e publicou um “Erramos”, nesta segunda (29), por disseminar fake news sobre a falsa taxação do Pix. A retratação acontece após o Ministério da Fazenda e Receita Federal publicarem alertas do retorno de notícias falsas sobre o Pix nas redes sociais, dias depois do apresentador Emílio Surita, do programa Pânico, voltar a falar que transações financeiras acima de R$ 5 mil seriam tributadas pelo governo federal.
“A Jovem Pan pede desculpas pelo erro e reafirma o compromisso com a correção e a veracidade das informações veiculadas em sua programação”, destaca a nota da empresa de comunicação. O Pânico é veiculado nas rádios e canais digitais da Jovem Pan e na Jovem Pan News, canal por assinatura da rede.
Em nota publicada no portal, o Ministério da Fazenda classificou os boatos como uma tentativa deliberada de enganar a população. Além da inexistente cobrança sobre as transferências, o ministério negou a criação de uma multa de 150% para quem não declarasse tais valores, reiterando que a Constituição Federal proíbe a tributação de movimentações financeiras nestes moldes.
“A única verdade que mensagens falsas não querem contar é que: a partir de janeiro quem ganha até R$ 5 mil estará completamente isento do imposto de renda e quem ganha até R$ 7.350 terá desconto. Isso é o que os autores dessas mensagens falsas não querem que a população saiba. Não caia em fake news!”, disse o comunicado do órgão.
A Receita Federal também se manifestou, enfatizando que a disseminação de pânico financeiro prejudica o debate público e beneficia apenas grupos interessados em desinformar.
Em 15 de janeiro, o Ministério da Fazenda revogou a normativa da Receita Federal que tratava da medida. A regra apenas elevava os valores das movimentações que os bancos iriam informar sobre transações. Era de R$ 2 mil iria para R$ 5 mil para pessoas físicas e de R$ 6 mil para R$ 15 mil para pessoas jurídicas. A norma não tratava de de tributação.
Segundo o órgão, o foco da política tributária atual é a ampliação da faixa de isenção do Imposto de Renda, que passará a beneficiar quem recebe até R$ 5 mil a partir de janeiro, além de oferecer descontos para rendas de até R$ 7.350.
