Quem largou na frente foi a Raposa, aos 20 minutos, exatamente pela ponta-esquerda, tão utilizada pela Raposa no jogo. Kenji fez boa jogada e deixou para Gerson. O camisa 8 cruzou na medida para finalização precisa de Matheus Pereira: Cruzeiro na frente.
