Um motorista de 39 anos morreu em um acidente de carro na MG-401 em Jaíba, neste domingo (30).
De acordo com a Polícia Militar, ele seguia no sentido Jaíba/Manga quando perdeu o controle da direção. O veículo invadiu a contramão e atingiu galhos e troncos de árvore.
O motorista foi socorrido por uma equipe do Samu e foi levado para o Hospital Municipal Dr. Antunes Rocha. Ainda segundo a PM, ele sofreu ferimentos graves e morreu após receber atendimento médico.
O veículo estava com documentação regular e foi liberado para uma testemunha.
