De acordo com dados do Sebrae, cerca de 2,7 milhões de mulheres com mais de 55 anos são donas de seus próprios negócios no Brasil. O número revela a força do empreendedorismo feminino 50+, que cresce impulsionado pelo desejo de autonomia financeira e pela busca de novos propósitos. Esse movimento integra a chamada economia prateada, setor voltado às pessoas acima dessa faixa etária, que movimenta trilhões de dólares no mundo.
A empresária Vera Lúcia Lopo, que atua há mais de 30 anos no comércio em Montes Claros, representa essa geração de mulheres que encontraram no empreendedorismo uma forma de reafirmar autonomia e propósito após os 50. “Tem dificuldades, sim, e muitas. Sobretudo, o principal desafio é a credibilidade, as pessoas acreditarem que você é capaz”, afirma.
Para ela, a experiência de vida e profissional é um dos grandes diferenciais na gestão do negócio. “O meu segmento é algo que eu sempre sonhei e desejei. Tenho compromisso com o meu trabalho, com as pessoas, com a clientela e com a entrega. Isso para mim é muito importante, essa entrega de qualidade, de horário, e o respeito para com a clientela”, destaca.
A maturidade, segundo Vera, traz também uma visão estratégica e empática que faz diferença na liderança. “Hoje a sociedade está doente. Tanto podemos falar da clientela quanto das pessoas que vêm trabalhar conosco. Já tive profissionais com TDAH, autismo e até mesmo esquizofrenia. Precisamos ter habilidade para lidar com essas pessoas, porque no nosso segmento dependemos de várias funções — design, cortador, impressor — e é preciso saber integrar essas diferentes realidades”, explica.
Vera defende que o trabalho das mulheres dessa faixa etária contribui diretamente para o fortalecimento da economia. “Com certeza, o trabalho das mulheres 50+ vai elevar o PIB, tanto do nosso mercado local quanto estadual e até mesmo nacional”, ressalta. E deixa um conselho às que desejam empreender: “Após os 50, não tenha medo de arriscar. É um risco calculado, lógico, mas seja persistente, com a convicção e a certeza de que vai vencer. E procure ajuda, elas sempre virão”.
A vice-presidente da Câmara da Mulher Empreendedora de Montes Claros (CME MOC), Cybelle Medrado, também destaca o papel fundamental das mulheres maduras no desenvolvimento econômico da região. “Montes Claros é um mercado importante. Vemos muitos movimentos acontecendo e espaços sendo abertos para as mulheres na cidade. Seja uma empreendedora de venda direta ou dona de uma grande empresa, todas estão se conectando. Montes Claros é uma cidade pulsante, e as mulheres podem, sim, empreender, gerar empregos e movimentar a economia”, avalia.
Apesar dos avanços, Cybelle reconhece que as mulheres ainda enfrentam desafios ao conciliar o empreendedorismo com as responsabilidades familiares e a necessidade constante de provar sua capacidade em um mercado ainda desigual.
Cybelle destaca a importância das redes de apoio e capacitação, como o Sebrae e a Associação Comercial, além dos grupos de mulheres empreendedoras que fortalecem conexões e oportunidades em Montes Claros. “E a experiência das mulheres acima de 50 anos é um diferencial que enriquece todo o ecossistema empreendedor”, conclui.
