A Prefeitura de Montes Claros, através da Secretaria Municipal de Meio Ambiente, suspendeu, desde a manhã desta quinta-feira (19), a visitação em todos os parques, por tempo indeterminado A decisão foi em decorrência do Decreto nº. 4002 de 16 de março de 2020, que dispõe sobre medidas temporárias e emergenciais de prevenção de contágio pelo novo Coronavírus.
Nesta quinta-feira, 19, a Câmara Municipal aprovou, por unanimidade, o projeto de lei do Executivo prevendo medidas para enfrentamento da emergência de saúde pública ocasionada pelo novo Coronavírus. A lei permite que algumas ações possam ser adotadas pelo prefeito Humberto Souto. O projeto prevê o isolamento, quarentena, restrição de circulação, suspensão temporária de benefícios, determinação compulsória de exames, dentre outras medidas.
É importante destacar que essas medidas só poderão ser aplicadas caso haja real necessidade no município, após avaliação da gestão municipal de saúde. Uma vez aplicadas algumas destas medidas, ficam asseguradas às pessoas total assistência por parte do município.
Quem apresentar alguma suspeita de contágio da Covid-19 não deve procurar os hospitais. O ideal é ficar em casa e manter contato imediato através dos números 98407-6987 ou 2211-4336, para que as providências sejam adotadas.
O secretário de Meio Ambiente e Desenvolvimento Sustentável de Montes Claros, Paulo Ribeiro, informa que os parques que já estão fechados são Sagarana, no Ibituruna; Cândido Canelas, no fundo do terminal Rodoviário Idelberto de Freitas; Mangueiras, no bairro João Botelho e Milton Prates, no Major Prates Os demais parques e áreas verdes que não possuem cercamento não devem ser frequentados pela população. “A decisão é por tempo indeterminado”, concluiu o secretário, alertando a população para tomar todos os cuidados necessários para evitar o alastramento do Corona Virus.
